Summer movies extra credit

The summer movie season is nearly here and that means big money for the movie industry. Summer movie schedules are out examining the top movies and their release dates for 2016. For extra credit, check a list of the movies coming out this summer and tell me which movie you predict will make the most money and why. Pick the three movies that you think will make the most money this summer and explain why you chose those movies. Write a few paragraphs on this and put it in your journal for extra credit.

Extra credit on Jackie Robinson

Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns’ new film on Jackie Robinson concludes tonight (April 12) on the PBS television station. Watch the second part of the documentary for extra credit and write a few paragraphs about what you learned on this iconic baseball player and civil rights leader. In addition, you are welcome to watch the movie “42” about Robinson and write a few paragraphs for extra credit on your impression of the movie. Put this extra credit in your journal.
